The Catskill recreational Center is the vision of the Gould family and their desire to give back to a community that has supported them for 5 generations. The 19,400 SD family-focused recreational center includes a competitive size swimming pool, locker room, community meeting space, fitness center, and lounge. IPD was tasked with designing infrastructure that would minimize operations costs. We answered the call by designing a geothermal HVAC and pool heating system, a solar domestic water heating, a voltaic electric generation system, energy recovery ventilation, and LED lighting throughout. s designed for this building ran seamlessly and efficiently, allowing the practitioners to focus on their patients. IPD Engineering played an integral role in bringing this large, modern, state-of-the-art medical space to fruition. We performed a full suite of MEP/FP and Structural design services for this new build.
